|Rank 1: Way of the Dragon||Initiates of the Mirumoto Bushi School must master the basic principles of Niten, the two-sword technique founded by Mirumoto himself. When wielding a katana in her main hand and a wakizashi in the other, Uriko suffer no penalties of any kind for dual wielding, and she gains a bonus equal to her School Rank to her Armor TN (this is cumulative with the normal bonus for wielding two weapons). Additionally, when Uriko is targeted with a spell, she may raise or lower the TN of that spell’s Spellcasting Roll by 5.|

On Personal Intents…
She has traveled far to show the strength of the Dragon Clan.
I Am My Brothers Keeper…
Not truly siblings, but Uriko took Ryuujin “under her wing” as part of her assigned duties to see that the “co-prodigy” (as she heavily believes) of the Mirumoto School makes good show of their abilities, and to not stray from her own perceived perfection.
Uriko’s Sacred Daisho
Given to her even before her gempukku, Uriko’s Daisho has been in her family for twelve generations. The katana named “Kogarasumaru”, and the wakizashi referred to as “Onimaru” were made from the same block of high-carbon iron tamahagane, giving both blades the trait of having less luster and some difficulty in reflecting moonlight (in effect concealing its masterwork character).
Kogarasumaru is of strange design in that it has a bare tsuka made of ivory depicting that of a “classic oriental” dragon’s head. While that of onimaru, the similarities end with that it’s hilt is that of a “westernized” dragon, hinting to influence from the Unicorn or from some distant lands.
Crafted by Masahiro a master swordsmith, both blades were specifically intended for use as a pair, the daisho gives +5 to the TN of all Disarm Maneuvers against the wielder.
Despite not having gone through her gempukku yet, Uriko displays the set strung to her obi rather impetuously. Uriko does not even know it, but what she has in her hands is one of the Dragon’s valued Twin Sister Blades.
